What this week's report says
Leveraged funds added 11,380 long contracts and cut 30,757 short contracts in E-mini S&P 500 this week — a net bullish shift of +42,137 contracts. They remain net short overall.
Leveraged funds and asset managers moved in opposite directions this week — speculative and institutional flows disagree on E-mini S&P 500.
Open interest fell while positioning shifted — traders are closing exposure rather than adding, which weakens the signal.
