What this week's report says

CautionPositioning is stretched: leveraged funds are more net short than in 100% of the past 3 years. Crowded shorts raise squeeze risk — a caution flag, not a buy signal on its own.

Leveraged funds added 1,134 long contracts and added 4,114 short contracts in Euro FX this week — a net bearish shift of −2,980 contracts. They remain net short overall.

Open interest rose alongside the positioning change — fresh money is entering, which typically strengthens the move rather than short-covering.
