What this week's report says

CautionPositioning is stretched: leveraged funds are more net long than in 86% of the past 3 years. Crowded longs raise reversal risk — a caution flag, not a sell signal on its own.

Leveraged funds added 616 long contracts and added 888 short contracts in Bitcoin this week — a net bearish shift of −272 contracts. They remain net short overall.

Leveraged funds and asset managers moved in opposite directions this week — speculative and institutional flows disagree on Bitcoin.

Open interest rose alongside the positioning change — fresh money is entering, which typically strengthens the move rather than short-covering.
